Well I have tried to post this post about three times and the pictures will never load, maybe the third time is the charm.
For Braxton's 12 birthday we rented the Army Depot Bowling Lanes, we love it, we have the WHOLE place to ourselves. The kids bowled, play games, and ate pizza.

Braxton's friends sure do know him, everyone gave him gifts that he just loved. From Harry Potter, to Pokemon to music gift cards. He loved everything!!

We were lucky enough to have most of my family (missed you Chase & Family and one set of my grandparents) plus Steve's sister Melissa & Family and Steve's parents who join by telephone (they are serving a mission) come the Sunday after Braxton turned 12 to be involved in his setting apart as a Deacon. It was really neat for me to have my husband, my Dad and my Grandpa be involved in that, I don't think a lot of kids get to have both a grandpa & a great grandpa around for things like that. Thanks to all who came and were able to be apart of this mile stone in Braxton's life.

After we had are normal Davis birthday party with dinner and cake & ice cream. Braxton had asked that everyone give him cold hard cash for his birthday so that he could buy a Kindle Fire, which he got the very next day & LOVES it. Thanks everyone!!!
I have been so proud of Braxton since turning 12 he takes his Priesthood seriously, the first week he went to opening exercises the Bishop asked "does anyone not know who your home teaching partner is?" Next thing Steve knows Braxton hand is in the air, see Steve knew that they were partners but he hadn't told Braxton yet. Steve said it was really cute and made him smile. He has also been really good about fasting on fast Sunday and make sure that he gets to the church on time to go collect fast offerings.
It has been crazy for me to be taking two kids to mutual every week, I can not believe how fast time flies!!

They are growing up too fast! We wish we could have been there. Glad he had a fun birthday and got the Kindle!
